Our Services

Our office is equipped with the capability to offer the full range of anesthetic options including intravenous (IV) sedation, and nitrous oxide (laughing gas). We employ patient monitors in all surgical areas so that important vital signs are monitored by surgical personnel at all times.

All staff members are trained specifically to address the special needs of surgical patients and are also certified providers of basic life support to provide CPR if any emergencies may arise. Dr. Chawla is further certified to provide advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), Pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and has been trained specifically to deliver the full spectrum of anesthetic modalities.

The best way to reduce anxiety is to make certain you know what to expect during and after surgery. As with most anxiety-producing situations, the more you know, the less you have to be anxious about. Prior to surgery, Dr. Chawla will review with you the type of anesthetic to be used, as well as the way you’re likely to feel during and after the operation. Our patients safety and concern is of our prime concern.
